University seminar:
Coaches for Inclusion, Health & Peace
We offer compact and practical training in the form of a university seminar.
It prepares participants for missions in sports-related social-aid projects in developing countries. Students have the opportunity to put into practice what they have learnt during an assignment with a partner NGO or FIM.
The training includes teaching the basics of project management in the field of development aid and in-depth study of topics such as leadership and pedagogy, the imparting of social, life and health skills, as well as the inclusion of people with disabilities in and through football, both in theory and practice.
Content
Module 1: Basics of philanthropy and possible fields of reference
for (football) sportModule 2: Basics of development cooperation
Module 3: General motor skills and football-specific support (including trainer behavior)
Goals
Getting to know international sports funding and project work
Transfer of skills and knowledge for project work abroad (project management, financing, evaluation, etc.)
Multiplier model: "Coach the Coaches" (with the help of the soccer game practical examples, basic knowledge in trainer training should also be conveyed)
Gaining basic knowledge about sustainable development work.
interdisciplinary - economic, ecological, social science - establishing a connection to development cooperation with topics such as: "Good Governance and Civil Society", "Food security and water management", "Social and environmental standards in economic processes"
have basic knowledge of philanthropy, compliance in sports or Olympic education and values
Know the importance of philanthropic activities for the different “players in sport”.
Know and be able to apply the importance of forms of movement for improving motor development; in this way a “head start for life” can be gained for the children, including through unrestrained use of language and the acquisition of social skills
Knowledge of physical activity promotion
Use the “radiance of football” and use knowledge such as the sport of football with its technical-tactical elements, social and personality-enhancing aspects specifically for development cooperation
Didactic / methodical basics to teach young people and adults and to support them with teaching attempts
Basics of communication and presentation as well as team development and moderation
