We are delighted to welcome the Heilpädagogisches Zentrum Seidenbaum (HPZ) as a new member and valued educational partner of the FIM-Family!

HPZ Seidenbaum offers comprehensive support, education, and care for children and young people with intellectual, physical, or multiple impairments. Together with us, the special needs school will actively promote inclusion, equal opportunities, and social responsibility through sport.
Through planned initiatives such as weekly sports activities and football training sessions under the motto "Kicken mit Herz" ("Playing Football with Heart"), the creation of a football team to participate in camps and tournaments, and experiential learning days for children and young people with and without impairments, we aim to break down barriers and foster meaningful encounters. Close cooperation on school projects, particularly in inclusive physical education, is also envisioned. These joint activities will allow us to continuously gain experience and set new impulses for inclusion in the region starting next school year.
Our collaboration with HPZ gives us the opportunity to reach a larger number of people, as the centre supports children and young people from across the entire region. Together, we are committed to spreading the values of diversity and equal opportunities throughout society and offering children and young people sustainable ways to thrive through sport.
A key benefit of this partnership lies in the educational expertise of HPZ. Their knowledge and experience in working with children and young people with impairments will directly enrich our educational and awareness programmes, as well as our inclusive sports projects. This not only supports the development of innovative methods but also plays a crucial role in major projects, such as the Special Adventure Camps and various training and further education initiatives.
HPZ Seidenbaum’s decision to become part of the FIM-Family pursues multiple goals: sport acts as a bridge to society by creating spaces for encounters and overcoming social exclusion. Through inclusive camps and tournaments and through new collaborations, we offer opportunities that individual schools could hardly realise on their own, thereby gaining experience and diversity. Sport also strengthens the self-image of children and young people, allowing them to take on new roles as players or leaders, which boosts their self-confidence. Moreover, through these partnerships, we gain visibility for our work and receive valuable insights from other institutions with similar goals.
We look forward to a partnership that creates movement – on and off the pitch.
