Our new FIM-Family member: FC Appenzell 58

We are delighted to welcome FC Appenzell 58 as a new FIM Family member of FOOTBALL IS MORE.

As the first amateur club to be officially accepted into the FIM Family, FC Appenzell 58 demonstrates its commitment to inclusion, building a team for people with disabilities and social responsibility in grassroots sport.

FC Appenzell 58 is committed to building a team for people with disabilities and integrating them into the club. Through regular training sessions and participation in tournaments and events, they not only want to promote sporting development, but also create a sense of community and belonging.

Membership of FOOTBALL IS MORE offers FC Appenzell 58 the opportunity to exchange ideas with other clubs, take part in training and further education programmes for coaches and benefit from a network of experts with international expertise in the field of inclusion.

Through its membership, FC Appenzell 58 aims to act as a role model in the municipality and canton and to encourage as many sports and football clubs as possible to address the issue of inclusion.

Rayco Gutierrez, President of FC Appenzell 58;

‘FC Appenzell 58 is an inclusive club where everyone, regardless of disability or social background, has the right to participate in sport.’

We look forward to working together and to living and promoting the values of sport together!
