The International School of Zug and Luzern (ISZL) is a renowned non-profit international school based in central Switzerland. With students representing over 50 nationalities, ISZL offers a diverse and inclusive learning environment built on academic excellence, creativity, and global citizenship. The school provides an International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum from early years to high school, and encourages students to become compassionate, open-minded individuals who are engaged in their communities and prepared to make a meaningful impact in the world.

As part of the Special Adventure Camp 2025 in Brunnen, we are excited to welcome a group of ISZL students to join us for the Inclusion Day on Wednesday. This special day is designed to bring together young people with and without disabilities to share experiences, build understanding, and promote a culture of inclusion through meaningful interaction.

In preparation for the event, we will hold three sessions with ISZL students to provide background and context for their participation. These sessions will cover:

  • What “FOOTBALL IS MORE” stands for – an introduction to our philosophy that sport is a tool for social inclusion, empowerment, and positive change.

  • What sensitisation means and why it matters – helping students understand the importance of awareness, empathy, and inclusion, and how to recognise and challenge barriers in society.

  • An overview of our programmes and why our work is important – from international camps to long-term inclusion projects, we will share the broader impact and purpose of our activities.

These sessions aim to equip students with a deeper understanding of inclusion and prepare them to participate with awareness and confidence.

On the Inclusion Day, ISZL students will:

  • Join for lunch with the international Special Needs teams and students from MPS Ingenbohl, encouraging informal conversations and meaningful social exchange.

  • Participate in a joint creative drawing activity, offering a space for self-expression and connection through art, regardless of background or ability.

  • Take part in inclusive football matches, where mixed teams will play together in a spirit of fun, respect, and unity – with a focus on participation rather than performance.

This day is about more than lunch or football, it is about breaking down barriers, building bridges, and creating genuine human connections. We are grateful for this collaboration with ISZL and look forward to a day filled with learning, joy, and shared inspiration.
