A Successful Start for the IFV-Inklusionsliga

On 13 September 2026 the first tournament of the new IFV-Inklusionsliga was held in Gunzwil, in a collaboration between the Innerschweizerischer Fussballverband (IFV) and FOOTBALL IS MORE. Four teams took part: FC Bruschgol, FC Wolhusen Runners, FC Gunzwil Lindenkickers and FC Special Kickers Luzern.

The intensive preparation and the communication with the clubs paid off. The first tournament became a successful start and showed impressively how much joy, enthusiasm and sporting ambition can come together on the pitch.

At the same time, one thing is clear: the development continues. In future the tournament format is to be made even more inclusive. What began around ten years ago at FC Brunnen with a first Special Adventure Camp is today a pioneering initiative for football in central Switzerland and has led to the launch of the IFV-Inklusionsliga by the IFV and FOOTBALL IS MORE.

The next edition takes place on 11 October 2026 at FC Kickers Luzern, at the Tribschen sports facility. There the idea of inclusion will be put into practice even more consistently: everyone may join in. Participants should not only observe inclusion, but experience and feel it for themselves. The clubs affiliated to the IFV will be informed about the event by the Innerschweizerischer Fussballverband and FOOTBALL IS MORE and invited to take an active part.
