Together with the VfB Foundation and Berner Young Boys, an inclusion matchday was organised that showed what football can truly stand for: participation, encounter, and genuine community.
The U21 squad of VfB Stuttgart was first trained by FOOTBALL IS MORE. Afterwards, the players independently formed teams and competed against each other. On the pitch, league tables and jerseys didn't matter — what counted was team spirit, the joy of movement, and mutual respect. There was dribbling, passing, laughing — and above all, barriers were broken down.
In the evening, both the YB Special Needs Team and the VfB Stuttgart team supported their clubs together at the UEFA Europa League match.
When the ball connects people, differences fade into the background, and a sporting duel becomes a shared experience that lasts — that is when you see what FOOTBALL IS MORE truly means.
