Our levers: Sports and education

Inclusive play and transformative learning move communities forward together.

We use the positive power of football to bring people with and without disabilities closer together, regardless of age, gender, origin, or any disability. Sport promotes health, strengthens self-esteem, and opens pathways to friendships and meaningful social contact.

Shared sporting experiences give children and young people—from different cultural backgrounds and with diverse abilities—the chance to meet, discover their differences and similarities, dismantle prejudice, and build understanding and tolerance. Those insights travel from the pitch into everyday life.

Lasting change only happens if we raise awareness about inclusion and equip experts to deliver it. That is why we develop education and awareness programmes in cooperation with associations, educational institutions, and public authorities. Together, we ensure that inclusive practice becomes the norm everywhere football is played.
